Howdy Barb, it's good to see you around these parts. It seems you've been signed up a while and our trails haven't crossed till now. I'm pleased to say I'm a regular listener to your great show, here in the UK. I spoke to you several times on the phone during one of your shows, quite a while back, trying to win a David John & the Comstock Cowboy's cd. Looking forward to to-day's show. Many thanks for the great music & poetry you play each week. Happy trails, Bob.

Barb, thanks for getting Juni to sign the cd, I'd also like you to sign it please. It was a great contest. I was going frantic at this end trying to get the answer. I would never have managed it without the clues. Thanks for that. I'm gonna have to dig "Stagecoach" out and have a listen. Wiley's song (10,000 cattle) is a great song and one of my favourites. Thanks for another great show, they really brighten my Sunday evenings 7.00-9.00pm. Happy trails, Bob.

I have followed BBB for years and enjoy his humor and writings. I am from KS and was intrigued by the Medicine Lodge story.

I'm a bit of a cowboy myself. I grew up on the Quarter Circle in Apache Junction Arizona. I rode bulls for a living for about 10 years. I'm a professional braider and the guy that raised me owned Statewide Rodeo Co. Stop by my page and you can see what I'm about. If you go to the Group Cowboy Artists Craftsmen and Gearmakers and you can see some of my work. I;m sending you a friends request...R

I now substitute teach in a few schools here in the Portland area. I was an English when I taught high school down in southern and northern California. I like subbing, gives me more time to play music. I do bring my guitar to every class and usually give then a yodelling demo at the end of the period. Indeed, I am know around these parts as the yodelling sub. Not sure if you saw it or not, but I have a web site as well for my duo here in Portland: www.cafecowboys.com. We perform a bunch in the summer months. Do many styles. Great fun.

I see you are from Mancos...I hope to set a future book in that area.  Although I live in New Mexico (and love it!) I really enjoy Colorado.

Take care,

Jon.
