History Channel recently showed Haunted History of Tombstone made in 2000. I am trying to find out who the singer was who sang throughout the show about haunted Tombstone. I can't believe nobody even knows who he is. Someone is sitting on a gold mine & doesn't even know it. He's not listed in the credits. It just says the original music score is by G15 Music Productions. Well, He WAS the music score of the whole show as far as I could tell. I called Tombstone Old West Bookstore & spoke to Linda Ambrose. She gave me Ben Traywick's phone number. He said when they contacted him about doing the show they asked him to get people for various parts & he said he found a singer in one of the bars in Tombstone. He thinks his name was "Dusty". That's all he could remember. I thought surely there must be a CD of this guys music somewhere but nobody seems to know what I'm talking about. I tried contacting Tom Jennings who produced & directed the show but looks like he doesn't have time to return my call. Probably thinks I'm nuts. I can't believe the Old West bookstore isn't selling the DVD. Don't these people get out of bed every day to make money? I listened to the song he sings about Haunted Tombstone & wrote down the lyrics where they could be heard.
Maybe it's Wyatt
Maybe it's Holiday
Maybe it's Billy, Frank, or Tom
Maybe it's real or just a dream.
Boardwak sounds
Like somth'n scary?
Maybe it's a shadow
Maybe it's just the Moon
Makes you feel the way you do
Walk'n alone
Moonlight and the shadows
You're only companion
is a gun
Could be Morgan
Could be Marshall Wyatt
Could be a gringo
Looks like Curly Bill
Shadows always change their names
It's just him & his guitar & I think it's great & I would buy it if it existed.
Does any body know who "Dusty" is or was or where "Dusty" is?
That was History Channel Haunted History Tombstone. Amazon has it used for $4.
A treasure of a deal.
Comment by Jen on March 9, 2011 at 5:48pm The song is "Walking Alone". If I recall correctly, the album cover had Dusty on horseback in the doorway of Big Nose Kate's. The album may have been self-titled. I have never seen any other album by him, and I have no clue what I have done with my copy of this one. Here are the complete lyrics. Good luck finding it.
Jen
You're walking alone
Moonlight and the shadows
Your only companion is a gun
The boardwalk sounds
Like something from a memory
Tombstone's calling out your name
But who could it be
There's been so many dying
So many dreams to fade away
Maybe it's Wyatt
Maybe it's Holliday
Maybe it's Billy, Frank, or Tom
Maybe it's the shadows
Maybe it's just the moon
That makes you feel the way you do
Walking alone
Living in a memory
Maybe it's real or just a dream
Boot Hill keeps calling
Tombstone live forever
This is the town too tough to die
With your hand on your gun
You keep walking in the moonlight
The boardwalk sounds just the same
If you look real hard
Somewhere in the shadows
You can see them all again
Maybe it's Morgan
Could be Marshal White
Could be Virgil or Josephine
Could be Ringo
It looks like Curly Bill
The shadow's changing names
Maybe it's Wyatt
Maybe it's Holliday
Maybe it's Billy, Frank or Tom
Maybe it's the shadows
Maybe it's just the moon
That makes you feel the way you do
Maybe it's Morgan
Could be Marshal White
Could be Virgil or Josephine
Could be Ringo
It looks like Curly Bill
The shadow's changing names
Maybe it's Wyatt
Maybe it's Holliday
Maybe it's Billy, Frank or Tom
Maybe just the shadows
Maybe it's just the moon
That makes you feel the way you do
Comment by Gay Mathis on March 10, 2011 at 12:28am Someone was asking at this link (below) the same question 3 years ago..The reply to the question, in part, came from "Micheal Drawdy" and the singer's name was given as "Rusty"..See response number 2..Said it was a hard to find cd..

Dan, I also purchased this DVD a while back. I've also tried getting hold of the song. If Rusty's cd was called "Cowboy Up" it was available for download here, http://easymusicdownload.com/Rusty-Walking-Alone_6750016.html sadly I couldn't get the links to work. Hope you have better luck!
‘Tombstone’ by David John & the Comstock Cowboys is another great song, I think you’d like if you’ve not already come across it? I don’t want to post another direct link to the song, but if you go to the thread (link below) I started a couple of year’s back you will be able to hear it there.
