This Artist Spent Most of Her Adult Life As A Desert Rat

Carolyn Hawley was born in Chicago,lL. She spent most of her life in Southern California desert,which has contributed to an acclaimed collection of Western Paintings,including the powerful interpretations for which is most known for.

With major gallery exhibits throughout the United States over the past 30 years, gathering top awards,Carolyn has also participated in numerous renowned art shows such as ,Southwest Arts Festival,Palm Springs Museum,Scottsdale and National Arabian Shows,and Oil Painters of America,of which she is a member,as well as with Women Artists of America.

Carolyn is represented by the Richard Danskin Gallery,in Palm Desert, California and also McGraw Graphics,Leanin Tree Publishers and Bentley House Publishers. She resides on a small ranch in the high desert community of Morongo Valley,California,where she paints in her studio and teaches art classes in the Palm Springs area.
