Perhaps p. 8's "Historical Twins" put me in the frame of mind, but did anybody notice the Rocky Mountain Ranger pictured on p. 28?
What's True West trying to foist on us? I know Jude Law when I see him! Must have been a cut scene from Sherlock Holmes. Dr. Watson goes West?
The similarity is spooky.

Comment by Chris Lampe on January 4, 2013 at 11:14am I've got a photo of a bunch of heavily armed guys wearing bandoleers of ammunition (don't remember if they were Texas Rangers but I think they were) and one of them looks like my cousin's face was photoshopped onto his body. The similarity is stronger than even those old images of people who look like modern famous people.
Comment by Margaret-Anne Moore on January 6, 2013 at 5:03pm Bob may remember the photo from September of 2011 that looked like Nicholas Cage may have time warped back to the 1870s. Now if we see Stark Trek's Enterprise or some other such thing in a centuries-old photo we really will have something!!! LOL!!! Seriously, I have seen a lot of "historical twins" in recent years. Quite a few years ago, my local library did a special exhibit of famous paintings and their models and had modern models play their roles. They were showed side by side, and the results were astounding. They even found a jovial working man in England who was the spitting image of a painting of a jovial Henry VIII. It was not accomplished by undue makeup--it was real.
