Seconded.   I had neighbors growing up who served in WWII including one who was a paratrooper in 82nd and jumped in on D-day.  Later when I served in Army, one of the guys in our unit also was in 82nd and jumped on D-day.  Heroes all!

Yes they where heroes, we owe so much to them, my father was a combat photographer and we dont know if he landed the first day or second, but with his job probably very close to the start of the invation, but once again thanks to all that served

I worked with the USO for many years and would hear the war stories of many veterans old and new.  I thank them everyday for the freedom I enjoy.
