Spanish-American War Exhibit, State Capitol Museum, Sacramento

I'm excited to have been invited to participate in costume with Lou Lopez (Ft Mac coordinator) at the Inaugural Grand Opening of the Spanish American War exhibit at the State Capitol Museum in Sacramento. The private reception will take place on Wednesday June 16th. The exhibit features Spanish American War flags from the California State Capitol collection, an authentic Rough Rider's Uniform, weapons used during the war, and a fully outfitted horse. This will certainly be a once in a lifetime event coupled with a unique and extraordinary opportunity to view some rare historical pieces. I'm looking forward to it and will post photos upon my return.

Congrats on the invite! I will have to see the exhibit as I get to Sacramento pretty often. I have to hand it to California, they have one of the most beautiful state capitals (buildings and grounds) of any in the nation. Thanks for sharing.
