HISTORY CHANEL OK CORAL

LAST WEEK THE HISTORY CHANEL DID A GREAT STORY ON THE OK CORAL.  THEY USED OLD TOMBSTONE, CITY MAPS FOR MEASUREMENTS, ALONG WITH MODERN FORENSICS.  THEY USED ACTORS, AND RE CREATED THE SCENE....DID A GREAT JOB, AND ANSWERED A LOT OF QUESTIONS....THERE WAS NO MENTION OF DOC HOLIDAY, GETTING THREE SHOTS OUT OF A DOUBLE BARREL 10 GAUGE.

I've never seen a documentary one on the OK Corral that even comes close to describing both factions as what they really were. Two organized criminal organizations (democrats and republicans), that used the law and positions of power to benefit their particular profitable ventures.

　

　

One side pushed the envelope to a lethal level, the other side retaliated for it, and then all hell broke loose. Nothing but a turf war. Gang bangers rubbin their belly’s and marking their territory.

By the way, my son was stationed at Atlantic Maritime Command for a couple of years and I visited him down there and had a look around. Loved it! My regrets were missing Cape Breton and "The Rock". I'll have to go back and see those if I live long enough.
