Finally, A Ride to Match My Beaver Brand Hat

April 10, 2012

I have long wanted a ride to match my Beaver Brand hat, and now I have one. Thanks to Kathy Radina and Ken Amorosano, here is my new 2012 Ford Flex ($28,500, includes Ranger loyalty rebate). Got it at Sanderson Ford from Mike Gilbert and I highly recommend buying a car from them. Family owned and they act like it. Carole took the pic. As you can see the car does match my hat.

"As a matter of fact, I have driven a Ford lately."

Bob . . . you need to "pimp it out" like the taxi   :)

Seems to me that a ride to match that hat should have four legs and curved, metal shoes.

Thanks Dan, Wolfgang, C. Neil and Patrick. Yes, I am so crazy about this car I got home last night and took a picture of it in the driveway:

Great hat- I am just wondering, what companies or custom hatters have you ordered hats from? I am not talking about factory made hats, but custom or hand made hats?

Besides Beaver Brand Hats, I have ordered two different custom hats from Grant Sergot of Optimo Hat Co. in Bisbee, Arizona. I highly recommend Grant. Great guy. Great hats.

I went to Optimo the last time I was in Bisbee. Really neat shop (and town). I have to order my hats custom made- because most factory hats do not fit my huge melon (size 24 1/4"). Usually I like to wear fedoras, because I feel like they fit my face better and the felt is usually softer.
