Cannot send messages ...

Bob, for some reason I am unable to send messages or even reply to one.  My real name is Bill Marquardt. 

 

Is anybody else having this problem on the board?

Bill; I have the same problem. I can do it at my desk top but when I try to send on my lap top it dosen't go through. The Geek Squad (if you can trust them) said its a Ning issue. This for me has been going on since last Thursday night. Sent an e-mail to Ning Sunaday and still ain't heard nothing fro them.

I just had the same problem, but my lovely granddaughter(Jaici) was finally able to send a message, glad she is much better on puters than i am

     A couple of friends and I have been experiencing this for a little over a week now-no messages and photo attachments and we have to resort to the regular posts.I've pursued it but like Carbine no resolution  either.

Bill, I just emailed our web master and he will find out what is wrong. Sorry about that. Always frustrating.

Got an answer back from Ning, about an hour ago, to the e-mail I sent them Sunday. I quote- "It sounds like this is a known issue that affects members who use Internet Explorer 9. We don't fully support IE9 yet, but we're working on it! In the meantime you should be able to send a message using a different browser. You may also be able to use the 'Compatibility mode in IE9 to send messages.' Over the next few weeks, we'll be adding in support for IE9, but for now I'd recommend using Firefox, Chrome or another supported browser."

There you have it from the "Ning Team" themselves. I hope this helps.
