For all of you who knew my husband, Sam Talley, he has passed away and has gone to Heaven to be with our Lord. He sure liked being a member of this wonderful group of people and has had many pleasant moments writing history for this group. Just wanted you to know the reason you have not heard from him lately. Sincerely, Kathleen Talley

Comment by Sue Cauhape on April 2, 2012 at 9:41pm Kathleen, I'm so sorry to hear of your loss ... and ours. And thank you for taking the time to let us know. In the aftermath of such loss, it's a hard thing to do, but is most appreciated. Our love and thoughts be with you at this time.

Hi from Sam Talley' wife, Kathleen.
To all of you nice people who wrote me regarding my husband and everything. Your comments and thoughts mean a lot to me especially during this sad time in my life. Sam loved history especially our State's old history (Washington) and the Old West. There was guy Willie Kiel whose grave is somewhere by PeEll area in our state. They brought Willie out West in alcohol as he really wanted to see this area badly and had died prior to coming out here. I think he was like 19 or 20. Perhaps, Sam has already told you about Willie but I thought I would mention that as I always thought this was very interesting when we were looking at his special grave site.
Special thank you to Bob Boze Bell , who took the time out of his busy schedule to write kind remarks also. Sam always watched you on STARZ Western Channel and loved all of your neat things that we did not know about the Old West. Very entertaining you are!!
