Did Val Kilmer lose weight for the part? In all the recent photos I saw of him he was quite fat.

he wasn't as thin as he was in Tombstone but he wasn't Brando fat either he was chunky

 Wyatt Earp, Wyatt Earp

 Brave, courageous and chunky.

Long live his fame, and long live his glory,

And long live his image, so hunky.

  Murray,

     Wyatt Earp wasn't fat,

  And certainly neither was Bat,

But Val is no longer channeling Doc.

And chunky or not he still rocks!

I don't know folks, I watched the movie last evening and was not entertained much at all.  The pace of the movie was very slow, and overall the acting was very poor - at least for me - I reached for my iPad before the first 1/3 of the movie had even played.  The guy who portrayed the main bad guy, in fact all the young actors, looked uncomfortable on horseback, and really weren't very handy with weapons and such.  What was with that huge White Hat on the bad guy, that made him look like a reed thin puppy, with wings - sort of like the flying Nun???

For my taste, this wasn't even a "B" movie, or a Television Movie quality.  It was pretty poor.  God Bless Val Kilmer, but what was he thinking?
