Ghosts and Ghost Towns

Well, the long thread about Cowboys and Aliens finally diverted to ghostlier matters. Anthony Martin found some interesting EVPs while in Tonopah, NV. I've experienced some eerie moments in places like Virginia City and Bodie. I hope Anthony will elaborate with some details. Has anyone else got a ghost story to tell?

Cowboys in Afghanistan

Hi Everybody,

I just had to post this great video link. Amy Hale Auker posted this on this morning's Women Writing the West litserv and it blew me away. Her partner, Gail Steiger, went to Afghanistan on a hands-across-the-sea kind of trip and learned a lot about the cowboy traditions of that country. Both humbling and hopeful. Anyway, here it is. Enjoy.
