Hi Jim...my husband worked for several years in the Lee Vining area on Hwy 395 (they rebuilt 395 and built the 2 arch bridges over Rush Creek)...I would pack the girls up and drive the 6 hours north to visit him on the weekend and we'd explore the area...I love the eastern Sierra and just loved your photos. My husband knows where you pics were taken but those were places I haven't been to yet. Thanks to your pictures I'll have to pack up the girls, the hub, and trailer and make a trip up there soon (hehe after winter!) Thanks for posting!

HI. THE TWO PHOTOS OF THE TUNNELS ARE IN CANDLEARIA , NEVADA.IF YOU LOOK VERY CLOSE TO THE PICTURE RIGHT TO THE RIGHT OF THE WHITE DOT , YOU WILL SEE A TERRIOR COMING OUT OF THE WALL ON THE RIGHT. YOU WILL NEED TO ZOOM THE PICTURE IN TO SEE IT. I JUST WALKED UP TO THE FIVE FOOT HIGH MINE TUNNEL AND SHOT THE PICTURE. DID NOT EVEN LOOK AT THE PICTURE UNTILL ABOUT A MONTH LATER. ONLY BY ZOOMING IT IN WILL YOU SEE THE DOG. YOU CAN CLEARLY SEE ITS FACE WITH EAR FLAPS AND NOSE .
