Nationally known magician Jim Saylor has been performing professionally for over 18 years, most recently in AZ. as Wichita Jim of Wichita's Magic Chuckwagon. Wichita's Magic Chuckwagon Show is a cowboy comedy magic show for everyone. It can be custom tailored to play on the stage for hundreds or at a table for two. Not only do you get magic (close-up, stage, escapes and mentalism), you also get balloon sculpting and some fine harmonica playing. "Wichita's Magic Chuckwagon" is loaded with audience participation. Spectators will have chosen cards and coins visibly change in their hands. They will cut ropes in two and watch as the pieces become one right under their noses. Single objects will multiply in their own closed hands - and more. "Wichita's Magic Chuckwagon" will take you back to a simpler time and help you to forget about the pressures of every day life with something sorrowfully lacking today - quality entertainment!

Hello,
I am James Saylor. I have been a professional entertainer/magic consultant for more than 18 years, my specialty being close-up comedy magic, giving audiences a variety of shows to enjoy which include magic (stage, strolling, close-up, mentalism and escapes), music, (both banjo and harmonica) clowning, balloon sculpting, comedy and much more; most recently as cowboy magician "Wichita Jim" of "Wichita's Magic Chuckwagon" and as 'Just Jim', half of 'The Brother's Blackstone' comedy team, and I believe that given the opportunity I could be an asset to you.
I am a past-member of S.A.M. (Society of American Magicians), a life-time member of I.M.S. (International Magicians Society) and the National Thespian Society. I also belong to SPAH (Society for the Preservation and Advancement of the Harmonica).

Performed strolling and stage magic as cowboy magician "Wichita Jim" for Buck Taylor "Gunsmoke", "The Mist"; Ruth Buzzi "Rowan & Martin's Laugh-In"; June Lockhart "Lassie", "Lost In Space"; Jim 'Duke' Easterbrook "Tombstone", etc. at the National Festival of the West. Also performed in several gunfights with "The Mojave Muleskinners" and "The Southwest Legend Gunfighters".

Magic shows for a variety of organizations such as the Boy Scouts, City of Dekalb Public Works, Dekalb County Corn Festivals, the MOOSE Lodge, etc., which included stage illusions, comedy magic, mentalism, and as a finale Houdini’s Upside-down Straight Jacket Escape. Also, several appearances at The Comedy Womb in Lyons, IL. and The Quark Comedy Club in Rockford, IL.
