Same here Wade.

Let me ask you, how did you become interested in the Alamo? I see from your pictures you've done a bit of reenactment, outfits look great by the way. Are you originally from the SA area?

March 6th is on my calendar! Please keep me posted on any developments.

Good talkin' with you!
Joe

I was glad to see you listed in the new True West Society, Wade. Thanks for adding me to your friends list. It was great to see the recent photos of you at the Alamo last year. You've grown up quite a bit from the days when you started your Alamo site. Keep up the good work and Remember the Alamo!

Regards,
Bob

Hello Wade!

Sorry I haven't responded, been a little tied up lately with the kids and my "better half". Finally got some "me" time!

It's funny how certain things, sometimes small and inconsequential, at least to other people, can inspire us enough to change our lives. King of the Wild Frontier, a classic, for example. For me it was a visit to Lincoln, New Mexico. Growing up, I couldn't stand history, now I can't seem to get enough of it.

Hope everything works out and you can to make it to Texas this year, would be a pleasure to meet you. Either way, definitely keep me posted.

Have a happy New Year and chat with you soon,
Joe

Wade, Jeff Dane and I are driving back from Bexar on the 9th. On the morning of the 10th I have a presentation in Dallas. I should be back in Fort Worth by 11:00 am. I hope we can all get together then. My house is only three miles from the stockyards.

I've also been meaning to ask you to recommend any good books covering the battle of the Alamo.

Appreciate it!

Wade,

I leave tomorrow (Monday). Really looking forward to it. And it will be warmer than it is here in Indiana, too.

I'll be blogging from San Antone to let everyone know what's going on.

Best,

Mark Boardman
