I was glad to see you listed in the new True West Society, Wade. Thanks for adding me to your friends list. It was great to see the recent photos of you at the Alamo last year. You've grown up quite a bit from the days when you started your Alamo site. Keep up the good work and Remember the Alamo!
Sorry I haven't responded, been a little tied up lately with the kids and my "better half". Finally got some "me" time!
It's funny how certain things, sometimes small and inconsequential, at least to other people, can inspire us enough to change our lives. King of the Wild Frontier, a classic, for example. For me it was a visit to Lincoln, New Mexico. Growing up, I couldn't stand history, now I can't seem to get enough of it.
Hope everything works out and you can to make it to Texas this year, would be a pleasure to meet you. Either way, definitely keep me posted.
Hi Wade, thanks for inviting me to be your friend, its nice to talk to you again. I see that you will be in San Antone for the High Holy Days this coming March, perhaps we will meet again. Will your Dad Alan be with you? Say Hi to him for me.
Shame your Dad won't be with you this year Wade, but it will be nice to meet up with you again. We will be in San Antone from the 23rd of Feb. until the 10th of March, Not sure if there will be a Shootfest this year,if there is, I hope the weather will be a bit warmer.
Wade, Jeff Dane and I are driving back from Bexar on the 9th. On the morning of the 10th I have a presentation in Dallas. I should be back in Fort Worth by 11:00 am. I hope we can all get together then. My house is only three miles from the stockyards.
