Here is a list of Alamo reenactment events in early March hosted by SALHA (San Antonio Living History Association).
“Dawn at the Alamo” - Presented on Friday, March 6, 2009, from 6-7AM, in Alamo Plaza. This FREE event is a pre-dawn commemorative ceremony honoring the fallen on both sides of the Alamo conflict.

In your travels if you get an opportunity to come thru Fort Smith get in touch with me I'll give you the Grand Tour. Good luck on your preservation idea. We are saving Van Buren, slowly gettin rid of those Aluminum store fronts that slipped in here during the 70's. The folks in downtown Van Buren have done a great job preserving Main Street. Its about 80% restored at this point.
