More power to her and her underware. I decline to call it green thinking because of the obvious implications but Ide rather have a little solar healin to my cowboy duds than some hot ole drier shrinkin em up. Six

I've often wondered after standing in that line and watching thousands fall to the withering field of fire, why did the words "take cover" never occur to those folks on either side. six

The Most Sensitive Question in Reenacting

Well I'm starting to order stuff for the store. First let me thank everyone for their input on decorating the place. Of course I'm still working on the building and getting the stuff for the displays. I think the Fort is gonna loan me some stuff as well. They change theirs displays out regularly and might send me some of the old ones on a rotation. Which I greatly appreciate. But now its time to start stocking and clothes are my top priority now. The guns are already in my safe and ready to sell… Continue

Use Em or Loose Em.

I aint no preacher, I aint no bell ringer, I aint no right wing extremist and I aint no sheep. Your right to own any type of firearm is in jeopardy. Call your congressman, support GOA/NRA or any other A you choose. Do it now right now or loose em. You folks from the UK need to remind us colonials of the losses you have suffered. Sometimes our news is filtered here in the U.S. I will only post one political message and that is this one and will only say it once. Comments are invited.

Shis aash Sixgun,

Good hear from you. And yes everyone is into their Frontier or end it today. I know in my area Ginny and the crew here in Southern California finishes up tomarrow with theirs. Masa, AZ. soon starts theirs.

The Kiowa and the Kiowa Apache were allies in many battles, anmd I am sure the Kiowa was interested in hearing more than Cherokee, as they are surrounded by them and their language.

Thanks for checking on the N'ke b'ke for me. I'm not looking for the type that are for tourist, but the ones that were worn in every day life. Mine were made back in 1970 and they have more holes than a prairie dog town, and I had to retire them.

Yeah, Southern California! And when we get those earth quakes, I'm the one who looks normal then and can walk fine while everyone else has problems from the tremors.

Ka dish day shls aash,

Johnny

Thankx!

I will tell him to email if he would like to know more information for the train place over there. He has been doing some volenteer work for the train depot and I guess they are thinking of different ways to kind of "spice" it up!

Catch you later!

Nice to hear from you again!

Hay Six!

Haven't talked to you in awhile now. I do have a question for you. I was wondering if you would know who the reenactor is that plays Bass Reeves is? This guy that I know came through the mall the other day and was wanting to know because they are thinking of using him for some type of reenacting for the train in Van Buren. Just thought that you might know.

I have had some very exciting stuff happen lately with the Dalton boys. My friend Kith over seas found Emmett Dalton's old house out in Bartlesville , OK for sale! She told a man that lives in Van Buren about it and the guy went out bought the house and plans to make a new muesum out of it in the summer of next year. She sent me some snap shots of the inside of the house.

http://picasaweb.google.com/jayamitchell0/EmmettDaltonSHouse91809#

From what I understand the house was up for sale for some time and they were thinking of demolishing it! I was so glad to see that it was standing and that it was saved.

Also, Kith is sending me a copy of the movie "Man of The Dessert" this is one of the films that Emmett was in. I think that she is going to send me a copy of Tackett's film that he made on the boys. Evidently Tackett is the one that took some of the photos that day the gang got shot down in Coffeyville he later on, after the turn of the century, bought camera equipment and started to shoot movies. I think that the film that Tackett shot upset Emmett very much and it was shown in Coffeyville after it was finished.

Just thought that I would ask you about that question and thought that you would know who that was that plays Bass Reeves and share that info. on the film and the house.

Catch you later!

Oh, I plan to go to the October event for the Frontier Day events is on the 24 and 25?

See ya!

Six,

I've got a guy in Oklahoma that crafts items you may be interested in for your store. Nice thing is he may be willing to make the items and place them in your store on consignment. Check out the link below to see some of his work.

He made the walking cane, gunbelt mirror, medicine pouch and horseshoe coasters.

Howdy Six,

Yes, I would love a copy of the warrant, thank you. Regarding the poker table. If you cover it do so in tanned leather vs. felt. Of all the tables I've seen in photos, most had no covering. Those that did were done in leather. That is, if you are talking the 1870's/1880's.
