The most serious and common threat to ships is fire. (Particularly passenger ships) These are not coastal vessels... and land is only visible for about 14-15 miles OTH unless there are mountains or such. So, yes... you'd be out of land view.

Too all interested.. My agency is trying to see if there is any interest in getting together as a specialized group, a Western cruise. If any one is interested Please let me know. Thanks for the friends request, Sheldon...always happy to add new friends! Oh yes, that is certainly plenty of time to plan...I was worried it would be within the next month or two! And actually I think July would be perfect, not only because it coincides with the Soapy event, but I believe that's a month that I don't show my stallion during the year!...so it would definitely work out!
