"Pretty certain it comes from The Tonight Show.  That's what my research indicated.  Johnny Carson had all the cool guys on his show.  ;D  While you're at it, you'll love seeing Ed Ames doing his tomahawk throw…"

"A thought occurs: Charlie, perhaps your information's accurate for Boone until he took riding lessons from Ben Johnson for his audition for HGWT?  There is a visible difference in his riding style before he took lessons from Johnson. …"

"Dave, check Youtube.  I'm fairly certain you can find Sammy Davis's appearance on there where he demonstrated his prowess with pistol tricks.  I haven't seen it myself but I've read about the reference to it more than…"

"The film to which you refer, Charlie, is A Thunder of Drums, and the character which Richard Boone portrayed was called Captain Stephen Maddocks.  It also starred George Hamilton, Charles Bronson, Luana Patten, Richard Chamberlain, Duane Eddy…"

"Charley, I do beg your pardon, but you're in error in several points.  Ben Johnson taught Richard Boone how to improve his riding when he was up for Have Gun - Will Travel.  It's true that he disliked horses but he looked d@mn…"

"IMO, what differed about HGWT is that it was an adult western.  Most of the others were family viewing or targeted for children. Those others you mentioned could be watched by the family with the exception of Steve Donovan, Western…"

"Yes, that was a good one, perhaps one of his best.  Cicero Grimes was slightly reminiscent of the villain in The Tall T, Frank Usher.  Grimes was more dangerous from the outset but he still had a certain deadly charm.     "

Right back at you, my friend.

I wish to God I knew...if you go by the colour of my skin you'd have to say no.  They don't come much whiter than me.  I used to be a redhead with the usual pasty white skin and freckles that come with that sort of hair.

You see, Janice, I'm adopted with no family or medical history.  I hate and despise an injustice.  What happened to the Native population of the US makes me grind my teeth with fury.  I feel the same way about slavery and current bigotry against Muslims.  And don't get me started on Women's Rights, I'd likely bore you.  I'm in favour of everyone having a fair chance with no one looking down on them, or at least, with no one speaking ill.  Sticks and stones may break bones, but words hurt, too.

I'd be extremely proud to be Native American.  If you ask me, everyone else is here on their sufferance.  When Tea Partiers start yammering about closing the borders my eyes roll so hard it's a wonder they don't fall right out.  ;-p  As if any of us have a right to be here!  We stole this country from the rightful owners who were living here in balance with nature.
