Apparently, I've crossed the path of the fore-warned "weak-hearted".

And again, I apologize. But to be realistic, your, OUR, magnetized fascination with the "West" is ground not easily trodden by the weak-hearted. Vengeance. Violence, Dead men's tales. Rusty implements of destruction. These are the things we wallow in.

The fact that you responded proves that you care. For your reason, and your reason alone, you care. That's enough for me.

But really. If you kick over a…

An open letter to those who desecrated the grave of Henry McCarty (alias Antrim):

First off, you're a dick. (My apologies to the ladies and weak-of-heart.)

Second, human nature dictates that you will eventually talk. When you do, others will listen. Over time, your stories will be come legend, and your name will be disclosed. Bank on it.

But enough of that. For those truly concerned about the mortal (maybe) remains of America's most cherished cherub, my suggestion is a simple one: a security system.

Anyone willing to join me in raising funds…

Spring Creek Raid Centennial

On April 2, 1909, masked gunmen representing local cattle interests surrounded and fired a sheep outfit en route to Worland, Wyoming, with over 5,000 head. The “Spring Creek Raid,” marked the last of the cattle vs. sheep wars in North America. (Photo interpretation by M. Huff)

Marcus, great to see your mug and comments on the site. I tried to email you a month ago but I don't think I had the right address. We want to feature your home in our Westward Home. Are you interested? We've got a crack photographer out of Cody. Really good.

Hey Marcus,
Man yall did a great job on that place. I'm currently restoring an 1891 bldg in Van Buren and I hope I can acheive half as much as what you all have done. It is 3000 sq ft on each floor with 2 floors. I'll be renting the two apartments upstairs out. Cant get my wife off the farm to move in, she say its got too many ghosts and its to much trouble to get the horses on the roof. I made a cool discovery the other day. Under the floor in the back is a 30' deep 12' wide fresh water storage cistern. It looks like the gateway to hell. Havent been down in it yet but when I do I'll let you know what I find. I plan on using it for the geothermal cooling system Im installing. I also plan on a solar roof system to take it off the grid by 2011,
