I Have many Use to model a little for a guy, Bob Boze Bell, at one time. Wonder what became of him?
What are your favorite hobbies?
M.D."Doc"Ingalls here. Got the name while serving in the Marines and it has nothing to do with any old west "Doc". A shave tail Lt. saw my initials while on manuevers and thought I was a corpsman. My guys just picked up on it and started calling me "Doc". Some of these same people rode bikes with me, and it just followed me into civilian life. That was 1973. My logo for the name is the dwarf from Snow White. He's the only one with a degree.
Have been involved in the Old West since childhood. Started collecting firearms with a flintlock pistol in 1964. Progressed to cap and balls and then old cartrige guns. Started reloading black powder shotshells in 1966 and then moved on to rifles and revolvers in 1967.
Collecting and shooting old firearms (Pre 1920). Reloading for same. Building and riding old Harley's.
Reading about and collecting mens Victorian clothes and accoutrements. I also enjoy scale model railroading up to 1912 ( 1/87 HO scale) and have an extensive collection.
Collector at heart and if it's old I end up aquiring a few of what ever it is, from cooking gear to books.
Doc, long time no see. I was in Tombstone yesterday with a crew from PBS and I told them your famous line: "Tombstone is an old west ghetto." They loved that. You should probably patent it. Ha.
What are you up to? Ever get out to Cave Creek?
