In my ongoing search for information, I found an interesting piece of Denver Sheriff history. I detailed Doc Holliday's scrapes with Arapahoe ( Denver) deputy sheriffs and the jails in my book published in 2004. On May 18, 1882, Doc was arrested in Denver by Deputies Charles Linton and Barney Cutler on an Arizona warrant for the murder of Frank Stillwell in Tucson.The arrest was just seven months after the OK Corral event with the Earp Brothers.
