My Grandmother was born, 1883, and raised a few years on the Masterson Ranch in Weed, NM. She was brought to El Paso, TX about 1896 by covered wagon.

I went through Weed about 30 years ago, as I was born in El Paso, in 1955 and couldn't find the ranch.

Opps MY mistake, she was born 1893. Not 1883. Guess I should proof read before adding.

That would eb GREAT if you could check. I do know Jim Masterson, Bat's younger brother went to NM, but not sure where exactly. Unfortunately ALL my relatives are gone that had any knowledge of it. I DID have a photo,of the ranch, but it was lost when my grandmother passed.

Preciate any help. I live in Ft Worth now and don't get back there as I'd like. Grew up all over the El Paso/Alamogordo/Las Cruces area.
