The story has been told in the family that we are related to him...not sure how close...my mom is doing our McShane geneology right now..I would one day like to meet him and exchange family information and see where it might match, too....do know we are of the clan McShane from Co Tyrone, Northern Ireland with my Gr Gr Gr Grandfather Francis McShane emigrating here young and later married a Native American girl...tons more to that story!...members of www.clanMcShane.org , too!
