Hey pard, how ya been?.....
you should make you a Face Book page up,
so we can stay in contact better. Got any cool projects
in the works....art or movie/reenacting wise?
Jim-
Got laid off back in October, which really has been a god-send,
as I spend almost everyday painting, and have been pursuing work
in the Living History venues I know. Am waiting to see if a job with the History channel comes thru or not. Other than that just painting away. Just finished a painting of a gunfighter (watercolor)
You should give facebook a try, I found it really lots easier to navigate than MySpace. I use it to upload my artwork and keep in touch with LH friends back east.
I just started working with a gallery again after about six years
away from them.....a friend of Dave Powell's in Montana, so far so good. I love the movie & TV stuff, but they rarely seem to have
the budget to warrant working on one for very long. I tried Ebay, for art sales for a while this summer & Fall, but the economy went to hell
along with art prices.
Thanks for the comments. The next article will be out in True West in the April issue on the Fort Pierre to Deadwood Trail ride. I'll let you know what I hear from Deadwood.
Nice shootin there Jim, whered them boys get all them matchin white ponies. All those blue uniforms kinda make a southern mixed breed boy like myself a little nervous. Really like the South Dakota area, up there last winter, if you could do somethin about all that snow I would move there. Last time we had that much white stuff on the ground the cotton gin blew up.

Hay Jim. Heading your way this summer, Look forward to seeing it again. I was out there around 25 years ago, I suppose things have changed. Glenn

Dances With Wolves filming 20 years ago -- Bill Stevens is starting to plan for a 20 year celebration in Pierre. He's thinking of inviting cast and crew, and anyone interested in the film. It's just in the begining planning stages now.
