Jim Coker replied to Ron "Six Gun Preacher"'s discussion Who was your favorite in the series?? in the group Gunsmoke Fans
"Chester was a far better character. His humor and seriousness were very believable. That little trick he did with the rope and "Killer Dave" just seemed natural. Festus was a one trick pony. Annoying and uninteresting."

Ever been "snake bit"?

Well Partners, I has been! Not literally but let me tell you the story. First off I have a small home business I call "Life on Media". reason is I do Still photography, video (in Broadcast Quality standard definition) and sound recording. I guess the sound recording end has grown considerably since Cindy Smith began recording here. Her unique voice has required purchasing several different pieces of equipment and even different microphones though I have a collection of at least 100 vintage and…See More

New recording

We just finished Cindy Smith's latest cowgirl song, "Green Fields of Clover". It was registered yesterday so I expect it to be on her page sometime soon. I would put it here but it is her song so she should be first. She has also finished her book so you should be hearing about it soon.

It has been great fun packin' a six gun and playing cowboy like I did so many years… Continue
