I'm sure we will. Us guitar pickers are all birds of a feather.........wild geese I think.
You have a wonderful Christmas too Jenny. Nobody can ever claim to be "Stuck in Lodi" as long as you're there.

Hi Jennifer,
That's a pretty quiet time for me. The next one is January 11 at the Palace in Prescott.
I guess you'll miss the New Christy Minstrel party at Kathy's. I had a couple of songs I was hoping to do for you. I'm sure we'll get a chance to get together again. I need to send you a "Pete's Garage Session" recording of "Rock and Roll Ruby." We got a real rockabilly sound there. Trouble is, I'm about fifty years, make that 55 years too late.

I can certainly understand why old man Trimble (LOL) would remember you. He met me a couple times, too, but I bet he don't remember me. I've been learning alot of new and old songs from Dave Stamey, Ian Tyson, Juni Fisher, and even Gene Autry. And I'm making friends with some WMA members around here like Katycreek, so I too am going to make music the rest of my life, because it makes me happy too.

I listened to your music at your website... very nice. I hope to be doing that sometime. I spent too many years working at a job I didn't much like. Why do we do that?

Five Feet High and Risin'. Yep, I started singing that one about 1958. It was one of the first I learned on the guitar soon after I discovered modulating. I think Al Gore invented modulating but I discovered it........
I don't get to sing it much now. Maybe I'll do it next time I play the Palace on Whiskey Row in Prescott. I did Jambalaya at my show up there on Monday and it went very well. A couple of weeks ago I donned a black wig and sang Rock and Roll Ruby at a college concert.
I'm too old to do such things but I still have suppressed desires.
To paraphrase Marlon Brando, "I could 'ov been a Rockabilly Star."

I sure hope we can make that happen. I was greatly influenced by Johnny Cash when I first saw him in about 1957. I've never again seen such chrisma on stage. To this day when I tell a story on stage I think of him. I like his early songs and recently recorded Wreck of old '97 (my dad was a railroad engineer0 and Rock Island Line. Singing Rock and Roll Ruby and Five Feet High and Risin" in the bars helped pay for my education.

"I would love to cross paths with you and sing together. I am one of your greatest fans you know..."
The feeling is mutual Jenn. I would like that very much. I wish Kathy could arrange to fix up a tour for a group of us. Dolan and I are up in Springerville next weekend for a three-day gig.
I'll check out your web site.
I loved your CD

Hi Jenn: Of course I remember you. How could any red-blooded cowboy not remember you.
Kathy gave me a copy of your CD and I really enjoy it. You're sounding better than ever.
I hope we can get together again and play some music.
