You Gotta Love the Government

No, I'm not doing a modern-day political rant. Well, maybe sorta, but not the way you think.

I'm all excited that my latest Luke and Jenny children's book is finished and ready to go to the publishers. I had planned to launch it during Helldorado Days. Well, that didn't happen. Then I planned to launch it at a book fair event here in Tucson in a couple of weeks. I really, really, really wanted to have the book ready for Christmas, but that's not going to happen either.

One Heck of a Good Helldorado

I had one of the best Helldorado weekends I've had in a long time, thanks to you folks here on the True West forum.

Every small town has its problems, but, as most of you already know, the trend lately for Tombstone has been to air more of its dirty laundry than usual. Interesting Co-incidence

BBB brought up an old Beatles song on one of his recent blogs and it got me to thinking. Many of the people that I'm meeting though Old West reenacting are also Beatles fans. I've also met some cowboy musicians and singers who are Beatles fans. Strange but true. And the Beatles and the Old West have about as much in common as oil and water.
