Howdy Gary,
Well, you get the dubious honor of becoming my first official friend since I joined a few months back!I'm currently making an off white summer frock suit for an old re enacting friend-single breasted, mid thigh length with slightly rounded front corners, what used to be called a Chesterfield frock(not at all like the overcoat). When it's done I intend to immortalize Kid Lobo wearing his new duds and post it along with some older images and period costume catalogue pages so do keep watching.
All my best,
Anthony
Howdy Gary,
I've been quite busy the last couple of days and picked up a great heap of really old California orange crate labels ranging from about ca. 1900-10(RARE!!)up through the post second world war era.Of special interest are some depicting western themes-indians,desert terrain and cowboys and I plan to offer some duplicates on the forum soon so keep watching! There is a 1928 one called Bronco of a cowboy swinging a lariat and at full gallop that's a marvel!
Meanwhile back at the ranch the endless sewing continues!
Ant-ney(As a Kentuckian friend calls me!)
Hello Gary,
Here's hoping that everything is fine on your side of the big pond.We miss your sterling presence on the forum.Have you been re writing history lately via photoshop?
Best Regards,
Anthony
Gary,
Thanks for the generous offer but the spirit of H.G.Wells informs me that it is ill advised to time travel alone so perhaps you and I could be in the background with Butch and Sundance.Let me mull the possibilities of this one over a bit.
Ant
