Yeah, you know, isn't it great! Bout a dozen years ago I was in the LCCH and studying that enlargement of the famous picture of Billy. Something was posted that said there was likely another copy out there somewhere, since it was likely taken with a mulitpul lens camera. I turned to my wife and said, "I'd give anything to find that other picture".

But don't we all dream about finding interesting or important BTK stuff? Isn't that why were search through dusty old book shelves and antique stores?

Sure the odds are extremely long of actually finding anything, but they aren't Zero are they. After all it was impossible to find Bat Masterson's Colt pistol and Sallie Chisum's collection......but both happened.

It's dreaming keeps us looking, and talking about the saga of BTK and reading books and writing them. You guys, the skeptics, need guys like me; the dreamers. We, after all, are the ones who buy your books and read your magazines.

Dolan, my good friend! Check out the posting of my tintype of Sallie Chisum. It matches perfectly with those published by BBB and Nolan.

So look her over. You must admit that her image is genuine. If you cannot "see" her I'll post the known images which I know all of the historicans here know perfectly.

So, I dare you! (Please understand I am talking as a friend, no angst intended.) You have to agree that my picture of Sallie and probably the one where she is posed with Wm. Robert are absolutely authentic. Since they are, then how about all of the others?

No matter how much you experts run around and scream and shout, my collection of little tintypes is absolutely genuine! I'll scream it to the heavens.

But don't look at all of the others, just Sallie and then reel back in.

Dolan,

I appreciate you stepping up and speaking up against that fraud. I'm also sorry Stan had to end his thread but frauds always bring chaos to any honest board.

Thank you,

Did he wink at me too? Wouldn't you like to know...? ROFL!

Poor Jimmy, are you still jealous after all these years? Of course you are (you should be) and it must really frost your cookies that no one would ever have heard of you if it weren't for the Kid.

Wanna know what I think bugs you the most? That as short as he was, at 5'8" Kid still towered over little 5'2" Jimmy Dolan.

And then there's the manner of your deaths. He died a hero to many people, betrayed by a friend ("for money and for office," as someone put it back then), shot through the heart in the home of the girl he loved enough to risk his life for.

You, not so much. Some kind of bowel thing, wasn't it? Ewww, Jimmy. I mean, really... Not the best career move, know what I mean? Yuck.

(Mr. Artesia Rancher, I hope you understand I'm just funnin' ya--though you must admit everything I've said is true ;-)

Dolan, I thought this was a site where people could post, share, debate. Is that right or not????Do members of this site have a right to post photos purely to share and ask the opinions of other members? Do members of this site have a right to post without being treated as if they are stupid???? I said from the beginning that these were only pictures that I found and I posted them only to share. I also said that I am no expert unless you need to be treated for an illness and then I can say absolutely yes I am an expert in that field. I thought when I became a member of True West I could share and discuss my interest in Billy the Kid with others who also enjoyed the same topic. Since I have been posting on this site I have received a lot of sarcasm. I am beginning to wonder if you do have any real interest or you just like to be sarcastic. Even so called experts don't know everything.
