I just read a story about one of our North Country's later day pioneers.
I've known a couple of men like Larry, but they usually don't live to be real elderly.

Thought I'd share a picture of some folks attending one of the Muskwa-Kechica Artists camps. I haven't had the pleasure of a ride through this land other than looking at it through the window from the asphalt, but it is marvelous. Of course, I've seen many pictures, most of them grander than the background here. I'm no good at scetching or painting but I can hold scenes like this in my mind for a very long time.…

Dave, many thanks for stating it was Hugh reciting; 'The 26th of May' . I listen to 'Spirit of the West' most weeks along with 'Calling all Cowboys' and a couple of others. Hugh's got a very distinct voice, I don't know why I mixed the two up?
