"Sometimes a story just gets too 'deep.' An example is Costner's Wyatt Earp film. It was either an hour too long or 3 hours too short. It would have been better as a trilogy--a 2-hr film of the pre-Arizona years, 2 hrs about Arizona,…"

What happenend to the gool old days?

I thank everybody for the different groups that are available to learn past history about the cowboy days. I just don't understand the cow dung that is on regular TV these days. Not worth watching. I stick to the western channel and other learning channels. I can't speak for anyone else but when I get together with friends we don't talk about who or who wants to sleep with this guy or that girl. We talk about good stuff and good morals. Topics we would'nt mind our kids or grandkids hearing.Well…See More

Thanks for the kind words about my work. I enjoy writing, but it never seems to tell the complete tale. Seems as if I still have more of it inside.

I've been endorsed by Matt Braun, Stephen Lodge, Don Bendell and a list of million selling authors, just waiting for the money to start rolling in, LOL.

My later work is much better than the work at first. I guess I found my 'writers voice' at some point along the way. War Paint, a book released last year had good reviews, but I spent months researching the thing, which I enjoyed a great deal. It was strange too, once at the computer the story just flowed as quickly as I could type.

Actually, I write because I love telling a tall tale and seeing my work in print. No more money than I make, I'd starve before making it big.

Take care, stay safe and keep yer powder dry pilgrim,

Howdy Chuck -- 9-26-09 --

Welcome my friend -- as working cowboy - author - I just wanted you to know, this is hell of a good group with matching passion for the Old and New West.

Look forward in sharing views and the Cowboy Way

If you are wondering Chuck how I can be a author and working cowboy, it is called time Pard, almost 35 years, and I wrote about America, The Cowboy Way, and on my people and the wilderness as I worked a horseback, and lived deep into my wilderness, while doing it.

Not the easy way, but the cowboy way -- true to life experiences
called REFLECTIONS FROM THE WILDERNESS A COWBOYS JOURNEY.

GO TO www.moonlightmesaassociates.com for validated info.

Much obliged my friend -- until the next go round --
