Has anyone ever heard of this incident? The article that is attached is the only place that I was able to find it mentioned in my most recent research effort. New Mexico Territory Tale
For about fifteen years I've been trying to track down a story I read about the rape and murder of a young girl in the New Mexico Territory about 1853 or 1854 and the subsequent tale of her brothers who followed them back down in to Mexico and gunned them down in a series of gunfights.
