Howdy Flying R,

Glad you like the topic and content. I know of no single book that deals with this subject. Many of the older books dealing with Ringo tended to repeat tall tales and were thin on facts. I have not read the recently republished book about Ringo that ChipProf mentioned, John Ringo, King of the Cowboys - His Life and Times from the Hoo Doo War to Tombstone, by David Johnson. I repeat, I have not read this book. Continue to stop back since we will no doubt be adding more information here.

Hey! I was looking on the net about Luke's movie and came across you here. Small world! Hope you are well. Been rather busy myself. At any rate, hope to learn some things here. Take care!

Also you might be interested in taking a look at Dan (dave) Tucker a Silver City lawman who has been overlooked historicly. It wouldnt take much scripting to come up with a movie. His whole life was a movie.

Hey Sixgun,

That's for checking on the table for me and the mention of Tucker. I'll check and see what I find on him. I have been traveling over the last 5 days and would have responded sooner but was without computer access.

Flying R, I did look over the site last night and it looks like it's going to be one fine auction. I like the fact they list the price range and current bid. Doesn't seem to be any shortage of buyers.

Again, thanks for the link.

Hello Bob,
Did you read Bob Boze Bells blog about the possibility of John Travolta and Tom Cruise teaming up to do a remake of Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid. Remember my script Faro.... I would love Cruise to be Luke and Travolta would make a fine Bill Harris or Bat Masterson... What do you think. What a shame if they are to do a western to remake one that could never be as good as the original.
