This is a group about the women of the west. From the women who made the overland journey, the settlers and townswomen, soiled doves and army wives. How did they live and cope and survive? Who were they? What were thier lives like?
Take a step back in time. This is a living historical time line beginning with the the Roman empire going up to present day. Both days start with Pass and Review parade of the time line. This is followed by several battle re-enactments and then the chance to wander through the different encampments and talking to the knowledgable people this event draws in. Fun and educational as well.
Just returned home from Huck Finn Days and what a blast! Bear went last year and this was my first year. We had such a good time with good friends. We will definitely be attending the event again next year.

...for Mojave Muleskinners event. We usually set up out tipi but with my recent surgeries we just weren't able to do so this year. But we went and spent part of the day up there yesterday. It was good to see old friends. Its always good to see Ginny Morgan and Two Shirts smiles....warms the heart. Guess we will see them all in Barstow the first weekend of June for Mojave Trail Days.
