Wow,I'm convinced! At first I thought it was the famous"Boxer Bandit" or" Kid Bermuda" but I now think this is the real deal!Let's see what Murray thinks.

This is the only one we thought was Billy the Kid but a recently released photo of Mundo the Kid, matches this cur perfectly!

I believe that I saw a wanted poster of this one-wanted for sticking bubble gum under restaurant tables, putting smiley face bumper stickers on other people's cars and other such desperate acts!

What I think is: the previous two have possibilities, but this one! It couldn't possibly be Billy, as when BTK entered Pete Maxwell's bedroom he was holding only a knife, not a pistol, and anyway this guy from Mundo Bizarro appears to be wearing a trocadero---excuse me---buscadero gunbelt, which BTK had sworn to Gov. Wallace never, ever to put on, on pain of instant expulsion from the New Mexico Territory's True West Society.

We also know that on that fatal night Pete Maxwell had been watching cartoons on his TV, whereas this TV appears to be off, or showing something other than cartoons. (Pete Maxwell was partial to Anti-Semite Sam.)

I wish to declare here that I intend litigation against the owner of this photo, as, when I was a boy in Borough Park, Brooklyn, I was called by some "Bermuda Charlie," being the only kid in the neighborhood who sometimes wore Bermuda shorts in the summer. (I believe this nickname was a play on "Remuda Charlie," who, I believe had some connection, somehow, with horses.)

I further wish to say that I intend here to end for good all the haggling over "is blurry face BTK or not?" by declaring, by the power vested in me by my membership in the True West Historical Society, that any and all old photo portraits showing a young guy with a lean long face and long rounded jaw, sleepy eyes, long narrow nose, short thin lips turning down at the corners over buck teeth, and, especially, JUG EARS---got that, McCarty? JUG EARS---is hereby positively identified as Billy the Kid!

(That lets you out Mundo Osterberg!)

Just think of how much these new found BTK photos (1, 2 & 3) may be worth, Mundo....What a great find.....:)

  Murray,

I'm positively in awe!Now that's authentic frontier gibberish!Mr. La Marr, you use your tongue prettier than a $2.00 -----!Golly,this is erudition and authority worthy ofJudge Parker himself!Anti -Semite Sam?Wasn't he part of that gang of hooligans that went gunning for poor Captain Dreyfuss?

  Oh Murray,

are there any extant photos of "Bermuda Charlie?"

    Mundo,

I'm glad that you didn't post a photo of the famous pirate Long Johns Silver or Johnny Thongo!

Anthony,

It's true that Anti-Semite Sam and his gang of hooligans went gunning for Dreyfuss, and it's a good thing they missed, or we would never have enjoyed Elaine on "Seinfeld." Among their other targets were Josie Sadie Marcus Earp, Levi Straus, and the Frisco Kid.

No, there are no photos of "Bermuda Charlie," though there are some, somewhere, of me in a boxer style "bathing suit" at Coney Island, and also some in which I'm wearing a Brooklyn Dodger cap and jacket. But those are more appropriate for a Brooklyn nostalgia site than one dealing with the old west.

This is not me.
