Fort Concho

Fort Concho San Angelo, TX. Home to elements of all four regiments of the Buffalo Solders. Also HQ. To the 4th and 10th Cavalry frontier units. Such notables as Ranald Mackenzie, and William Shafter commanded here. These buildings are part of the Enlisted Men’s Barracks, established in 1867.
