About the same size that it is when it reaches the Mexican border ;) But a whole lot cleaner.
But it is flowing to the Sea of Cortez not the gulf of Mexico.

Wolfgang, Texas' Colorado River flows to the Gulf of Mexico. Two different rivers with the same name.
