Comment by Christopher Zimmerman on November 22, 2011 at 4:47pm I decided to try and put pipe insulation on a hose bib next to the barn today. The insulation came off about a year ago, but I have successfully withstood the wife-hints about completing the project all this time. As I was figuring out how I was going to complete this 5-minute project, one of my horses stuck his head through the fence to more closely observe what I was doing. And when I say, more closely, I mean the horse's head was inbetween me and the hose bib. This, of course, distracted me. To make matters worse, the horse began to lick the pipe. Well, obviously I can't stick insulation to a wet pipe. Thus, the project had to be abandoned.
