Times A Wastin'

Just remembered I forgot to mow and fertilize for the last time this fall. -(OK- maybe I put it off a few times)- Now I suppose I will spend all day, one of these days, scooping the snow off the yard…Continue

Inspired by the story about "naked coffee" I decided to give it a try this morning at breakfast.  I sauntered into the kitchen wearing nothing but a sleepy smile and sat down at the kitchen table.  My wife turned and was slightly startled by the visage of my awesomeness in all its glory.  She said nothing, however, and turned to get the coffee pot and moved as if to fill the cup I had on the table before me.  Instead of filling up the cup, she dumped the entire pot of scalding coffee in my lap.

I've been walking around all day with a ice pack in my shorts to try and sooth the pain.  Unfortunately, the bag leaks a little leaving a tell tale wet spot on my crotch.  I've been telling everyone that I peed myself so they don't think I'm an idiot.

On another note--since I'm possibly the "sargent of arms" [sic], don't I get some sort of token of my rank?  What would this token look like?

Christopher, we'll have to think about what this token would look like,.......but it might take a while.

In another six or seven years, we might even have annual "awards" for Procrastinatin'

Christopher, no visual aid needed regarding your "naked coffee" story...:)

The token should be a large leak proof ice pack.

I think I would like to join this group. And just to let everyone know, I'm the "Champ" at putting off today, what I can do tomorrow. Just ask my sis.

Thanks for the invite Mundo. Sorry it took so long for me to accept the invitation. My sway backed Mule tossed me out of the saddle. Then it kicked me into last week, left me lame, and it took me a month to get here.
