The area from the Alabama Hills North to Mono Lake/Walker River was my old playing grounds as a youngster. Really enjoy that area and love to see photos of it as I still consider that area "home" even though Ive been transplanted some 1800 miles away.

It's hard to take a bad picture in the Columbia Gorge. I'd upload a few of my favorites, but I am sending them in to the photo contest. (Not sure what the "previously published" rules are around here.) Here's one of the sternwheeler on the Columbia River at Cascade Locks, Oregon.

I've been gone awhile. Can anyone tell me who were the winners were of the photo contest last April? I believe there were several categories but I never found anything that posted the winners. Just curious.

Ok, I got a package in the mail from TW. I won the landscape! Wooohoooo. Could have knocked me over with a feather. That was an exciting moment ! Cool.
