I have the Lonsome Dove Series with Duvall, Jones, and Huston. I also have Streets of Loredo with James Garner and Sissy Spacek. I also have the prequel Comanche Moon with Val Kilmer. I think that was all of the series to present or is their another?

Thanks fer the invite, and it was a real easy decision to join,
LONESOME DOVE is my favorite movie.
I'll have to see Streets of Laredo and Comanche Moon like
GDR commented on. I've got the boxset of the Series and
Outlaw years. Glad to kick a pig with y'all ;)

Is there a Lonesome Dove DVD out there with any extras on it?

Streets of Loredo is produced by hallmark Home Entertainments and comes in a 2 disc pack. Comanche Moon by Sony Pictures also comes in a 2 disc pack and has special features added. Both were bought at the local Hastings Store. Now that I look at the packing all have special features in them.

I have all four books and all the DVD's , allso the Lonesome dove TV series following Newts adventures 40 plus hours. But the original series remains my favorite.

So, there is a fourth one out. Ifin ya'll will give me the name of it I can go down to the local Hastings and order it or purchase it if its out yet.
I agree with ya'll that the original Lonesome Dove is by far the best of the series. Although the others take license with history for the sake of theatrics, they are still entertaining.

1. Lonesome Dove
2. Streets of Laredo
3. Dead Man's Walk
4. Comanche Moon
I think that is the order in which they were filmed. Correct me if I'm wrong.
