I saw all three seasons and have each on dvd. Best of the Best when it comes to being period correct. If you have not seen the series you are missing, what might be, the best ever.

I tried to get into the series a couple of episodes into the season and liked what I saw but could not get myself interested in the overall series. I later ordered the series from Netflix and started at the beginning and couldn't get the next disk fast enough.

Great show - wish I could afford to buy the collection.

I bought all set in the UK and signed up to Satellite tv SKY for the first series. My big problem with HBO is that the DVD set of the series cost a lot more than in the USA and we don't get the extra dvd with all the interviews with the cast. When I complained to HBO they stated it was a HBO UK decision. Does not detract from the best western ever made just makes me sick that we get ripped off and I've never seen the extra features!!!

Deadwood has got to be the best western ever, no matter weather you are talking about T.V or the movies.
Why H.B.O didnt finish the series is beyond comprehention.
I think they put there money into"Rome" which was nowhere near as popular

Yeah Rome, please what a waste. I still think there's money in the two hour special we where promised come on HBO stop messing around. & I'm not using the correct Swearengen parlance!!!!!

I haven't shelled out the money for the DVD, but I listen to the soundtrack regularly. Best soundtrack I've heard since "From Dusk Till Dawn".

I have been watching the re-runs on DirecTV religiously. I find it all fascinating. I really wonder how accurate it is historically. The language is a bit rough but you really get into the story. I just have to watch my own language after watching.
