Rick ~ I just wanted to check in and let you and everyone else know how the book is coming along. T.B. and I have been busy doing several book signings these past few weeks. And we have more scheduled. We're grateful for that! This Saturday (Nov. 28th) is the Atlanta Country Music Hall of Fame. We plan to attend and set up a table to sell books. I'll be singing in the Cowboy Room as well as in the atrium doing Country Music. And I've just finished a large oil painting I started when I returned from Arizona in September. I'll have to send you a picture. It has all glory of Arizona, the mountains, the cacti, the beautiful sky for a backdrop. Just don't know what to do with it now that I've finished!

WWPAS INVITE.pdfGreat News!... for all those interested in keeping America’s Wild West Heritage Alive for generations to come, SASS {Single Action Shooting Society} has just announced WWPAS {Wild West Performing Arts Society}, as the newest addition to their truly western preservation organization. Dr Buck Montgomery, former Hollywood stuntman and Wild West Show producer and performer, was hired on as Trail Boss to create WWPAS. Not only will folks of all ages be able to learn the Wild West Arts that include, Fancy Six Gun Spinning {can we say Johnny Ringo in Tombstone}, Trick Roping {like Will Rogers}, Bullwhip Cracking {like Indy?...Cat Woman?} Knife & Tomahawk Throwing {like hmmmm….?}, plus many more skills, but will also have the chance to compete in Regional and National Competitions. Since the old WWAC {Wild West Arts Club} dis-banded 3 years ago, no one has had the opportunity to lay claim to a World Championship Title…until now! Additionally, Stunt and Stage Combat for Reenactors and Wild West Shows will be a part of the line-up at the workshops and seminars offered at this year’s 1st Annual WWPAS Convention and Competition, held in conjunction with the SASS Convention, December 3-6, 2009, at the Riviera Hotel in Las Vegas Nevada. All workshops and seminars as well as the convention will be free to the public {to compete, you must be a SASS/WWPAS member though}. I have attached a “Handbill Invite”, but if you have any questions, or want additional information about WWPAS or on joining…Fire Away! Adios for now, hope to hear from you and see ya on the SASS/WWPAS Trail, “Ride’n for the Brand!”

Pround to join such a group. Have been a fan of Cindys for a couple years now, and have enjoyed watching & hearing her singing improve with every new song. And her songwriting is climing right up there too. Now I can't wait to read her new book. Looks like there's just no stopping this gal.

Well it's hard to find the words to say that will tell how much Cindy means to me, but most of all she's my friend. Sometimes when I feel down I'll call her or it seems like she knows and will call me. I am very proud of all that she's done, and I'm thankful to have her in my life.

I am just about finished with a small run of Cindy's "Time In Contention" Promo CDs. I am sure if you emailed and asked her she might possibly sell you one. They include 6 of her original songs. Then (whew) I'd have to produce more...
