I may be an outsider (in some ways) but I'd like to ride along if y'all would let me....you've seen me in action, Buck....at least a time or two...

Well How Do KD...I suspect a Rip Roarin', Ring Tailed Kat, Wild & Wooley Woman of the West such as yourself is more than welcome to share a campfire, some Arbuckles and some grub with the Wild Bunch!

Hey Buck, Thanks for the invite to join up with the posse. Look forward to the Wild West show this year and another chance to play with the crew. Hawkins

On Tuesday, July 7th, a Legend in the world of Stunt work, Whitey Hughes, did his final "Take" and is now up yonder smile'n that ever present smile of his, down on us. He was not only one of the very best in the business, but also, definitly, one of the most sincere & gracious men I've ever had the honor of calling a great friend. Certain people pass through our life that leave a memory that will last an eternity...Whitey left me with many such memories, and I am forever thankful. For those of you who had the priviledge of even just getting to meet him, you indeed know what I mean. My heart and prayers go out to his incredible "Little Lady" Dotti...to see them together was like seeing "One Person, One Soul"... Adios My Friend...Thanks for the countless Movie memories, the incredible "Gags", and your friendship.
As long as I can take a fall...each one will be for you!

Here's one of my favorite pictures with my friend Whitey...

WWPAS INVITE.pdfGreat News!... for all those interested in keeping America’s Wild West Heritage Alive for generations to come, SASS {Single Action Shooting Society} has just announced WWPAS {Wild West Performing Arts Society}, as the newest addition to their truly western preservation organization. Dr Buck Montgomery, former Hollywood stuntman and Wild West Show producer and performer, was hired on as Trail Boss to create WWPAS. Not only will folks of all ages be able to learn the Wild West Arts that include, Fancy Six Gun Spinning {can we say Johnny Ringo in Tombstone}, Trick Roping {like Will Rogers}, Bullwhip Cracking {like Indy?...Cat Woman?} Knife & Tomahawk Throwing {like hmmmm….?}, plus many more skills, but will also have the chance to compete in Regional and National Competitions. Since the old WWAC {Wild West Arts Club} dis-banded 3 years ago, no one has had the opportunity to lay claim to a World Championship Title…until now! Additionally, Stunt and Stage Combat for Reenactors and Wild West Shows will be a part of the line-up at the workshops and seminars offered at this year’s 1st Annual WWPAS Convention and Competition, held in conjunction with the SASS Convention, December 3-6, 2009, at the Riviera Hotel in Las Vegas Nevada. All workshops and seminars as well as the convention will be free to the public {to compete, you must be a SASS/WWPAS member though}. I have attached a “Handbill Invite”, but if you have any questions, or want additional information about WWPAS or on joining…Fire Away! Adios for now, hope to hear from you and see ya on the SASS/WWPAS Trail, “Ride’n for the Brand!”
