Mornin Buck and friends,
Started workin on a building 89 days ago with a total gut and repair of on 1880 building downtown. I have an old blog layin around here some where I will revive in a few days. The store is a mini movie set sorta contraption. I have built a small town inside. Gun shop, Jail, Saloon Cat house, General store and and Gun shop. A few folks can gather at the Saloon and have a few a few drinks visit the gun shop get a new Taylors, Colt or Smith stop by the general store and get some corn meal, pickles, jelly, BBQ sauce or even some new 1800 duds. Maybe even , (its fer rent) cut a rug after the shops close. I have venders that will custom build any periods clothing, a civil war archeologists display, afella that restores and displays ancient pottery and will teach you how to do it and a few others with various wares settin up their shops as well. Might even have a gunfight or 2. If the neighbors can take the noise. I'll be reposting that old blog with pics in a few weeks to announce the Grand invite.

WWPAS INVITE.pdfGreat News!... for all those interested in keeping America’s Wild West Heritage Alive for generations to come, SASS {Single Action Shooting Society} has just announced WWPAS {Wild West Performing Arts Society}, as the newest addition to their truly western preservation organization. Dr Buck Montgomery, former Hollywood stuntman and Wild West Show producer and performer, was hired on as Trail Boss to create WWPAS. Not only will folks of all ages be able to learn the Wild West Arts that include, Fancy Six Gun Spinning {can we say Johnny Ringo in Tombstone}, Trick Roping {like Will Rogers}, Bullwhip Cracking {like Indy?...Cat Woman?} Knife & Tomahawk Throwing {like hmmmm….?}, plus many more skills, but will also have the chance to compete in Regional and National Competitions. Since the old WWAC {Wild West Arts Club} dis-banded 3 years ago, no one has had the opportunity to lay claim to a World Championship Title…until now! Additionally, Stunt and Stage Combat for Reenactors and Wild West Shows will be a part of the line-up at the workshops and seminars offered at this year’s 1st Annual WWPAS Convention and Competition, held in conjunction with the SASS Convention, December 3-6, 2009, at the Riviera Hotel in Las Vegas Nevada. All workshops and seminars as well as the convention will be free to the public {to compete, you must be a SASS/WWPAS member though}. I have attached a “Handbill Invite”, but if you have any questions, or want additional information about WWPAS or on joining…Fire Away! Adios for now, hope to hear from you and see ya on the SASS/WWPAS Trail, “Ride’n for the Brand!”
