My apologies for the long hiatus, gang. Been very busy lately. I turned 21, lost my constructin job and am currently trying to find another. Contemplating finally attending college, among going after other endeavors.

To show my love and pride for the Alamo, I got an Alamo tattoo for my 21st. It's unfinished, with two more sittings to go...adding a sunrise and David Crockett motto "Be always sure you're right, then go head" in the sky.

Why, Thank you for the kind words, Dave. I am proud to have Texan settlers in my background and proud to be here.

It's great to have good folks like you who complement us native Texans with your kind words about our beloved "Lone Star State"...I believe the fact that those brave men who died at the Alamo were not all "native" Texan but were willing to die for the cause just proves that being a Texan means more than just being born here. I thank you for your kind words and thoughts. Please come spend time with us as often as possible

Tyrel...I think being Texan is a state of mind...So, as far as I am concerned, you and I ARE Texans because of our love for it! By the way...many of my ancestors were Scots as well! From the Highlands...Clan Ross and McGregor! (Alba gu brath!“Scotland Forever”)

I was'nt born any where near the USA let alone Texas , but from an early age i always wanted to be Texan. Don't get me wrong i am proud to be a Scots born Glaswegian but because of my love of the old west i want to be Texan.
