Howdy, all. Big lurker -- never posted...until now.

I have a collection of rare, in-most-cases mint, hardback Western history books. Do any of you have suggestions where one might get fair-value (in this economy) prices for them? I'm in the Phoenix area. Ebay just seems too sketchy for these items, and I wouldn't want to part with them without adequate compensation.

Some examples:

Wyatt Earp by Tim Fattig

Guardian of the Law by Glenn Shirley

Gunfight at Ingalls by Glenn Shirley

The Complete 15-volume Theodore Roosevelt Hunting Library from Palladium Press

And many others, varying in condition and age.

Any advice?

I have been selling on Ebay for about 12 years and had no big problems. To me That would be the way to sell them. But with todays economy it would be hard to get what they where worth a few years ago. If you have any more question on ebay I live around the Phoenix area too.
Thanks, Rick. I was just reading an article on selling on Amazon VS. Ebay, so your reply is timely and appreciated.
