I did not produce this video but I'd sure like to shake the hand of the guy/gal who did.  It focuses on a person who produced a degree of chaos here a while back and was subsequently banned.  I see that he's recently reduced the James Family Genealogy Forum on genealogy.com to an advertisement for his misidentified collection just as he tried to do on here.  Having studied many other areas of history, I remain amazed at the number of absolute nutbags, besides the normal honest folks, that Jesse James seems to attract.  Anyway, it's good to see this particular scammer exposed on YouTube.

You are so right Chuck. She grinds in the same old info and has yet to come up with any new leads proving her story. I am amazed at the child like battle that is going on over there with Lou accusing Betty of stealing the Dalton story. I often wondered how long it would take Lou to blow up over her story Dalton story being walked all over by Betty. Tell me this is not a curse when it comes to imposters. Reggie Wyatt was smart. She wrote her book as a novel. Betty would have less questions to answer and less to make up had she gone the same route. But then she wouldn't be able to make a dime off the Jesse James name. Jesse could rise from his grave and tell her that JLC was not Jesse James and she would argue him back into his grave. I think she went over her bounds with the ebay photo and working her bunch into that photo. That made her out to look like a fool. It's a hoot seeing what she will come up with next.

That's a case of two fools, each chasing their own favorite, long since disproven claim(s).  A mountain of evidence shows that neither Courtney nor Dalton could have been Jesse James.  The same applies to the nonsensical claim that Vaughan was Frank James.  Solid documentation trumps wishful thinking every time.

He thinks he's above the law. Apparently he rides the short bus everywhere he goes.

What a loser.

Her biggest mistake in her story is that she can't explain how the switch came about. How JLC if he was Jesse James faked his death and how JLC knew Jesse James personally. Then she goes on to confuse the parents of Jesse James with those of James L Courtney which is a hard story to follow in itself. Yet, when the matter of Zerelda is brought up with her death on the train, it seems Diana didn't die on the same train as the mother of the James boys . So what she is seeking is for everyone who reads her version of JLC aka JJ is to ignore the traditional story because it holds no historical value. Her story if JLC is Jesse James should have a stepfather in Texas who spent the remainder of his years in an asylum. Where is JLC/JJ's brother little Archie burried at in Texas. Based on family lore anyone's gggrandfather could have been Jesse James.

As to J Frank Dalton down in Texas he was a con man. He worked the Wild West Show Circuit and I am sure he knew more than one Jesse James imposter. One would thing there would be a connection between J Frank Dalton and John James considering when John James died Dalton came into all his learning material and picked up where John James left off. John James who was also a con man. There you have Howk, Highley and Ola who

jumped in on the piece of the pie helping promote Dalton and making a profit shuffling him around from one shyster to the other. When Howk got tired of Dalton he pawned him off on Ola. When Ola got fed up with Dalton, Dewitt Travis would come bail her out and get him to another location with another con man. I believe Jake Wilson was part of this circus as well. Highley was playing Mr. Innocent by saying Howk dumped Dalton off on him out in California. Come to find out they were playing imposter tag as he was taking Dalton to schools and such giving lectures and linning his pockets with a small booty, while the others took a break to catch that second wind till it their turn to be responsible for JFD/JJ again.

Since JLC lived a quite life and lived under the radar, he never came out as Jesse James. Dalton didn't come out until after JLC was dead. Had Dalton came out in 1942 JLC could have exposed him for who he was. So what is one to make of all these connections? A name to live by is a name to die by. JLC was JLC from his birth to his death. That's not to hard to figure out.
